From now long, when I post news or dance results of other incredible dancers you will be able to see more specific informations about them on this page.

Michal Malitowski & Joanna Leunis

Michael (christened MichaƂ) was born 28 May 1980, in Zielona Gora, Poland. Before his partnership with Joanna he won the Polish Latin Dance Championship four times with Iwona Golczak.

Joanna was born 22 May 1981 in Rocourt, Liege, Belgium. As a young person of 8, she suffered from a blood disease similar to leukemia, but recovered just after over a year. She is a well-educated woman who speaks French, English, Dutch and German, and is working on learning Italian. She has training in ballet, tap and standard ballroom as well as latin dances. At age of 18, she won the World Amateur Latin Championship, with Slavik Kryklyvyy.

Michal & Joanna started their partnership in 2002. The couple represented Poland until 2011, representing England from then on. They have won the WDC World Professional Latin Championship in 2008 and 2009. They are Open British Champions in 2012 and 2013. The couple also won first place in the 2012 and 2013 Blackpool Dance Festival and lately received 1st place at International Professional Latin Championships in London (October 2014). M&J live in the UK, however they spend much of  their time in Poland since Michal became one of the judges in popular TV shows 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Got to Dance - Tylko Taniec'.


Michael Wentink

Michael Wentink is a South African champion Latin American dancer, instructor and choreographer who is a 12-time South African Dance Champion and Japanese Dance Champion.

His dance career spans over 30 years. Michael still competes in dance, teaches and also has his own Latin fashion label.

With titles like World Amateur Champion and All-Japan Champion under his belt, Michael is also an accredited international judge.

Professional dancers he has partnered with include Veronica Patrick, Tebogo Kgobokoe, Beata Onefater, Kristina Pchenitchnykh and after he split with Beata he is procceding his dance career with Hidemi Yamamoto.

He is one of the three judges of the e.tv reality dance competition Superdance South Africa, which airs on the channel from August to November, 2009.


Beata Onefater
 
Beata was born in Lithuania, started her dance career at the age of 6. She became the Lithuanian and former Soviet Union youth latin, ballroom, and folk dancing champion. She moved to the U.S. at the age of sixteen. At that time she began her ten year partnership with Michael Wentink (biography above).

In 1998, Beata and Michael became World Amateur Latin Champions and won British Open (Blackpool), UK Championships, International Championships, US Open, German Open, Swiss Open and all other amateur competitions. They remained undefeated as amateurs, as well as, undefeated South African Latin Amateur and Professional Champions for 10 years. In 1999, they turned professional and were finalists of every major international competition. In 2004, they moved to New York and were representing the United States. At the end of 2004, Beata retired from competitive dancing. From the end of 2007 to 2009, Beata performed a showdance program worldwide.

Presently, Beata is coaching and lecturing and adjudicating competitions in all parts of the world.


Marek Kosaty & Paulina Glazik
Marek and Paulina are both from Poland. Marek was born on 15.08.1985 in Ketrzyn but currently he lives in Bydgoszcz. Paulina is from Bydgoszcz and was born on 28.06.1985.

Marek Kosaty & Paulina Glazik started dancing together in 2004 (November) as Youth. They joined together after Marek and Malgorzata Grzadka split in 2004 (October) and Paulina and Andrius Ivasauskas split in 2004 (September)

Currently they are registered as a couple in Poland. They dance in Amateur division.
 
Their first competition that is recorded in dancesportinfo.net's database was in Poland - Ilawa on 2005 (February). So far their best mark is getting into 1st place in the Amateur Ballroom International Championships 2014 in England - Brentwood/London on Thursday, 09 October 2014.


Aniello Langella & Kristina Moshenskaya
Aniello is from Torre Annuziata in Italy but currently he lives in Molinella. Kristina was born on the 26th of May 1990 in Kharkov in Ukraine, she moved to Italy in 2009 for her dance partner, Aniello.

Nino Langella & Khrystyna Moshenska started dancing together on the 22nd of December, 2009 as Amateur. They joined together after Nino and Nina Bezzubova split in 2009 (December) and Kristina and Anton Karpov also split in December 2009.

They do not compete together anymore and were last registered as a couple till 14.10.2014 in Italy. They danced in Amateur.

Their first competition that is recorded on dancesportinfo.net's database was in Italy - Bastia Umbra on 2010 (February). So far their best mark in that database is getting into 1st in the WDSF World Latin Championships (Czech Dance Open in Czech Republic - Ostrava on Saturday, 04 October 2014).



Riccardo Cocchi & Yulia Zagoruychenko
 
Riccardo is the son of famed Italian ballroom coaches, He was born in Terni, Italy and currently resides in the United States and represents the United States of America. Prior to partnering with Yulia, Riccardo and his previous partner were undefeated Italian Amateur Latin Champions and the World Amateur Latin Champions.

Yulia was born on the 11th of September 1981 in Belgorod, Russia.  At the age of 11, Zagoruychenko started to teach kids to earn some money which she then gave to her parents. At age 12, she earned her first major title in Russia when she became the Russian Junior National Champion. For financial reasons, she could not afford to dance both Ballroom and Latin and so at the age of 16 she chose to pursue Latin. At the age of 21 she decided to move to America, and partnered with Maxim Kozhevnikov. Together they became the US National Professional Champions.

Their first competition that is recorded in www.dancesportinfo.net's database was in England - Brentwood/London on 2007 (October). Their most current mark in that database is getting into 1 in the DO Professional WDC Super World Series Latin (Dutch Open 2014 in Netherlands - Assen on Thursday, 13 November 2014). They are also World Professional Champions in 2010 & 2011 and World Professional South American Showdance Champions in 2009.


Arunas Bizokas & Katusha Demidova
Katusha is A Russian professional ballroom dancer representing USA. She previously danced with Jonathan Wilkins (from 1996 to 2007), with who she won USA Open Professional Standard. Katusha Demidova has with partners Wilkins and Bizokas held the U.S. National Professional Standard Champion title continuously since 1998.

Arunas Bizokas is a professional ballroom dancer from Vilnus in Lithuania. His current partner is Katusha Demidova with who he represents USA.

As a couple Arunas & Katusha have won the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Professional World Ballroom Dance Championships. In 2013, they were ranked number 1 on the WDC - World Dance Council world ranking in the Professional Ballroom category.
